What kind of fruits work best in salsa?

Prefer something a little darker, deeper, and more robust? Berry puree can be incredible—experiment with raspberry puree, strawberry puree, blueberry puree, acai puree, and Andean blackberry puree to find the ultimate berry blend.

What types of ingredients should I add to salsas that use fruit as a base?
